We contribute to cultural exchange & integration through:
- Hosting regular, free meetings to support learners at all levels in an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere to nurture social connections & community growth
- Cooperating with local NGOs to build a wide support network for foreigners
- Creating a supportive network for teachers to develop new, more effective ways for teaching Polish language
During the COVID-19 pandemic, our meetups are not happening. We look forward to starting them again, as soon as it is safe to do so.
Our meetups, running since 2015, are always free, relaxed and open for everyone who has been learning Polish language. People of all levels of Polish, part of the world, ages and generally everyone is welcome! It’s a great place to practice, meet interesting people and just hang out speaking Polish.
We create safe space not only for developing language skills, but also growing friendships or support groups for those who are new in Poland or Wrocław. The format is simple: bring yourself, grab a drink from the bar, join us and challenge yourself to converse ONLY in Polish. Don’t worry! We’re all learners here, committed to building a supportive language learning community. And don’t worry, we’re not gonna pick on your grammar!
In 2020, with the support of Wroclaw city municipality’s Mikrogranty and Strefa Kultury Wrocław, we held our “Polish jest Spoko” meeting series: 8 relaxed & friendly workshops to help all learners with Polish language. Each meeting focused on a different everyday situation that foreigners face in life in a Polish city – everything from how to make smalltalk with a neighbour, shop independently at a local market to visiting a doctor without stress. Our aim was to create a comfortable space for learners to practice, have fun and meet new friends!
